Adult one-to-one Supportive Friendship is a program that allows volunteers form a friendship with an adult 18 years and older who are receving mental health services.
One-to-one friendships enable the consumers we serve to become more socially integrated into the community and to reach greater independence.
Friends meet at mutually conveinent times to share common interest and activities, such as going to the movies, having coffee, taking walks, etc..
All it takes is a commitment of at least four hours each month.
