Michael Sportello, Vet2Vet Coordinator

Michael recently joined the Compeer team and will be leading the newest Compeer of the Mohawk Valley, Inc. program as the Vet2Vet Coordinator. He has a degree in Business Management, and is a Army Veteran. Michael is very excited to join our team, and to help those in need. He retired from the Army in October of 2009. His job was to help soldiers with their careers and problems. This was a mission that he fell in love with. He is looking forward to seeing the Vet2Vet program develop and grow, and do great things for those who we serve. Hope Mayack, Youth Coordinator

Hope has a rich history of work in field of Human Services. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education. Hope's career has been dedicated to building strong foundations for youth and families. She has worked for Head Start, Girl Scouts, and Healthy Families. Hope believes that life is a journey and each individual brings something unique and wonderful to the world. She focuses on the strengths that each person brings, and is committed to helping others recognize their gifts and reaching their full potential. Judith H. Reilly, Executive Director

Judy recently joined the Compeer of the Mohawk Valley family. She has a passion for providing high-quality service, and is extremely excited about the benefits that consumers, volunteers, and the community reaps from the program. Previously, Judy worked for the Girl Scouts - Foothills Council, Inc. focusing on membership services, program delivery, and product sales. Yvette Piper, Adult Coordinator

Working as a Hospice volunteer since 2006 for the greater Utica Area, Yvette has a passion for providing the best quality care and assistance for people in need. As part of the Compeer team since 2009, she utilizes her Psychology (B.A.) degree working with disabled individuals.
